Too bad Marlon Brando is gone. During the Apocalypse Now years, he would have been great for the older Hubbard.

And the young Brando would have been perfect for early Hubbard, the war hero and world explorer...

... assuming you're making the Co$ Hubbard biography.
If you're doing the true story, you'd need a guy who partied so hard he flunked out of college...

Belushi would have been perfect, both for the younger Elron during his Animal House days and, if he were still alive today, the older one.
Sean Penn, as Jeff Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High could have played Hubbard the college dropout.

As he matures, maybe Penn will become the ultimate Hubbard.
There's one person who will never play Hubbard:

After his last Hubbard-inspired movie tanked to badly, nobody's going to give Travolta money to burn on another one!
