Business took me to Colorado and I ended up in Boulder.
This evening (Wednesday) I was walking along a shopping
street in what I guess is downtown. I noticed a door with
a small sign over it (maybe 4 feet by 3 feet) that said
'hubbard dianetics foundation'. First of all, how can they
call it a foundation? On the door the hours of operation
and a direction 'down the hall' were lettered. Without the
'down the hall' it would have been difficult to figure out
where to go, as the place is so inconspicuous. It said that
they are open from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Mondays
through Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays
and that there is a Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. I looked
at my watch and it was 6:15 p.m. The place was totally
dark. I decided to walk around a bit and come back shortly
before 6:30 to see what would happen. At a couple of
minutes before 6:30 a light in back came on and a woman
came from the inside and unlocked the door. Then she
disappeared down that hallway. I watched for about 15
minutes and not a single person entered. I guess they don't
have a lot of people on course. Also, the sign above the
door was not at all obvious from the street. There is no store
front, just a door. Not exactly booming.
